Yea, so anyways, while at the gym this guy starts talking to me, and he was a chill guy skis and shit, and then asked me if i would be interested in making some extra money. Now what 18 year old would say no to this? So im like yeah sure, so we exchange numbers and whatnot, and he says he is in online distribution, and is endorsed by many fortune 500 companies. Guy sounds prett legit when i was talking to him, so tonight he calls me up and gives me this number to call, and it talks about the whole caompany and what they are about, its called a "Conference Call" or something like that, its a recording from the owners of the company. So after that i call him back, and he said i can meet the owners tomrrow night some place in NY, and i live in NJ, and i should wear a suit becuase i will be meeting some very wealthy ppl. So he never told me where the place is in NY, and i still dont know at id be doing as in working for him. I am supposed to follow him to the place tomrrow, and my parents are sketched out because they never met the guy before, and the whole thing does sound kinda sketchy. So, has anyone had a similar situation to this? or should i go or not? sound legit?

and check to make sure that he is endorsed by those companies. generally if u hav to give money with the promise of more, or u hav to recruit people, it is bad

yeah. generally, if the first thing someone says to u is "wanna make some money" then it's prob bad.
and remember, the least likely guys r the ones that will get u the worst. but if when u find out more info tell me, cus im really interested in scams and cons, and hav done a lot of research on them so i know what to look for.

yeah ill let u know, and i just rmemebred another thing from the call, the only type of advertising they do is word of mouth, so just by ppl going around talking about it and such.
