I need some computer help... no more sound

so i was trying to clean up some things on my computer so i went to ctrl + alt + delete > processes.
i deleted some useless shit, but i also delete something that involves my sound card.
i tried reinstalling the driver like 5 times, and a message window pops up saying my sound card cant be found with some fancy computer words thrown in there
so can anyone help me out here? ... the beeping sound from the speaker on my motherboard is driving me crazy anything something happens, and its really hard to edit videos without sound.

when you tried reinstalling the sound did you have the motherboard cd in? if you did and that didnt work you can try searching the web and downloading what you need off of it. you also may have not totally removed all of the audio software on your computer so re check that

ha, I thought this was going to be like "WTF my sound stopped all of a suddend?!?!...well is it the mute button on?...oh thanks guys"
but try contacting your soundcard manufacturer if the drivers wont install and they should send you a disk or something

what brand is the computer? try to figure out what kind of sound card u have. u can usually download and install the drivers from the manufacturers website

problem- i had no sound
solved- erich took over my computer from the distant lands of cazenovia and got shit done.
