ok, so i couldnt find one of my boots today and i have no spares or anyone to borrow. i go to my dad and he has his old nordica air pump 2 peice rear entry things up there, 2 minutes with a screw driver im ready to role.
so these boots are old worn and look like shit and feel like it. untill i use this air pump thing. jesus im now having them, i normally ride in salomon koas boots and there going in the bin. i got custom soles etc the full works in them and they are shit in comparison.
this air pump needs to be incorperated into modern boots. a liner that can be filled with air round the back of your heel, over the top of your foot, each side of your shin and infront of your toes made this 10-12 year old boot a legend. the point of this is does anyone know of a company that is doing this currantly?
after some reaserch ive seen snowboard boots and trainers using this ''technology'', and i think the ski industry needs to embrase it. i can also imagine it being a great way to keep feet warm, as it must work like double glazed windows in your house, i seem to remember some one making a jacket on this technology not to long ago.
the shin bang prevention stuff sounds cool,, but as far as keeping your feet warm it would never be an advantage, double glazing uses a vacuum, hence air would do nothing. cool you found boots you love though, nice one
