Hey!
So I'm going to be going into second year this fall at UofC, and it's time to apply for housing. I'm just wondering if anyone here can give me some insight into the pros and cons etc. of each residence. I checked the regional forums and the search bar and didn't really get any legit answers, so if you guys could post them here that would be dope! Thanks!

I thought the deadline was the 29th too but cascade is the newest building, which means its the cleanest, brewster and those buildings are bigger in size but you can tell they have many years of students living in them because they are alot older. And then there is glacier and olympus but im pretty sure that is only for grad students

They are all bunkers except for Cascade, that one is actually nice. The others are fun to live in but facilities suck, brick walls and about 8 feet wide by 10 feet deep. Kananaskis is the same as the others, the people make it.

I have lived in kan in a double which was good but only cause i was wiht my best friend from high school. kan in a single was decent but good thing I was dating someone who lived off campus cause i was soooo sick of the food. it's better now though. I lived in a 4br in norquay I believe, just for spring semester. with randoms. it sucked a lot, those places are sooooo shitty. then cascade 4br in my 3rd year. which was really sweet. most 2nd years live in cascade. and it's definitely the nicest. I would put that as your first choice for sure, and then a single in 1st year rez (kan and rundle) as your 2nd choice. there are also some places just off campus that are good, check out patrician village, its almost like rez just a few minutes longer walk. but stumbling distance from the den.
any more questions just ask, I think its fair to say im pretty knowledgeable in the u of c rez department.
