yes, so I need new poles and I'm not paying for them so I am going to get something online, what does everyone have/ suggestions

go to good will and buy some cheep poles, then cut em down paintem up and youl have the sickest poles on the mountain!

They can bend, they are still aluminum.  Plus everyone has them and they cost $70

ditch them for some runs i dont think it really matter on poles just steal some rentals and paint them sich

I got some K2 5 Speed's. they are composite. my buddy snapped a pair of his poles today and im like haha I cant break mine!

go with composite poles, they're crazy strong, pretty much un-bendable

I had long been a believer of the "its just a pole" idea.  Why would you spend money on something you could steal from the rental shop.  Recently I found myself breaking yet another pair of poles and decided it was time to step up and get a half decent pair of poles.  I went out, purchased the Scott P4 team poles and just got back from 4 days at Big White hitting trees, boxes, rails, cliffs, pretty much everything and the poles still look brand new, probably the most impressed I've ever been with a product.  Definietly worth the money, and they look dope

great poles, the gripping system sucks though, it's just a strap drilled into the pole.

Theres this company though, I think they are called "The Royal Shaft" or something like that, and if i remember right they have composite poles with some actual cool desings, check them out.
