Where to buy skis?

 I am going to new zealand and i need to buy skis. when i am down there. i will be on the south island. where do i go?

Hey man. any major city and any ski town has at least 2 ski stores all with reputable brands i.e Rossi k2 armada. where will you be skiing? reply and ill recommend some shops for where you are going

can bring skis with you aswell, they're pretty expensive to buy here

Don't buy skis in NZ. Everythings really overpriced, and its way cheaper to get stuff shipped over from the States with their end of season sales. I never buy any gear here in NZ anymore, its a waste of money. Just to give you an idea of prices here, the 07/08 season Armada AR6 will be the new model in NZ this season, and they retail for $1000NZ for just the skis in most places. K2, Head, Salomon and Line all have their latest 08/09 gear in NZ this season, before the Northern Hamisphere gets them, i'm pretty sure.
