I've heard good things about both, and right now I think I'm actually leaning towards the blackjack, but what do you all say? Getting the blackjack would save me the $30/month blackberry charge right? So would the blackjack be a cheaper way to go?

my black berry just stopped working, I take it out of my pocket.. I get like a few snowflakes on it put it back in my pocket... now none of the buttons work except the wheel

also, i have a mac, and i know blackjacks have windows software. will this cause a problem?

The black jack is kind of more similar to the motorola q.
Theres a program called Missing Sync for mac that'll let you sync your windows mobile phone with your mac. Its a pretty mediocre program thats like 40 dollars maybe? It might have been less I don't really remember. I almost never sync my phone with my Mac though so it wasn't really worth it.
If you really want a phone that works well with your mac, the only one to get is the iPhone.

iPhone, holy shit they are amazing. Hack it, and instantly you have unlimited (Assuming youre bored enough to play with your phone) entertainment plus a multitude of practical uses.
