I don't know exactly if it's the Flu but man this shit seems to be spreading and knocking people down so fast here in Portland. Anyone else seeing this in their town right now? My whole house got it, I resisted for a good 10 days then it just destroyed me. The past 5 days has been miserable, extremely swollen glands, terrible sore throat, bad migraine headache, stiff neck, sharp stomach pains, diarrhea.... I want to go ski so bad, it's sunny, warm and beautiful outside and here I am suffering ............ went to the doc and basically there's nothing to do except stick it out, and do all the right things that we know we should do when we're sick. I am so impatient with sickness.........
I feel like an idiot, as I read the first couple sentences I was thinking "What the hell does FLU stand for? Is this some crazy new disease that I haven't heard of?"
yah i got a flu shot so im covered on that end, but i had it once real bad and it was heeeeeell...it's basically just wishing for death for 3 or 4 days
ive got a shitty cold right now, i hope it clears up fast cause we're supposed to go skiing all weekend and then go out to tahoe next weekend for a week
looks like i win the fever contest....this morning i maxed out at 102.8
but yea about 2 weeks ago EVERYONE in my town was getting it....i thought i had escaped it. but 2 nights ago i was proven wrong, and i have a large stain on my carpet to prove it.
i had a pretty bad flu a few days ago. crazy soar throat, and so much chest pain it hurt to breath. dont take tylenol or any of that shit, it doesnt do anything. i just said fuck it and went clean without any drugs for 3 days and just ate healthy shit and it passed quickly
when i first had it like the first or second day (i forget what it was) i had a really high temp right before i went to bed. i cant remember having a fever that bad, because i was just sweating so bad and was so dizzy i had to hold on the walls to be able to walk down to my room
