How come their business got worst in a growing market? So, if you feel like you want to chat about it, it's the place.

Maybe not keeping their promotion in line with the growing competition (I don't live in Canada so I don't know if they have been keeping their exposure up or not)
They certainly haven't been as visible as they were a few years ago though

always thought d-structure was pretty expensive and never really updated or expanded their inventory that much, at least in their online shop. RIP tho cool shop

It's a shame, a sick company. Not all stores are closing though are they?!
You can see how a store like Jibij really kept up with the changing nature of the industry, whereas in some ways D/S stayed fairly static. And yeah i agree on the prices - definitely seemed high.

never been to an actual store, but the online shop was pretty bad. they never updated stuff, and the prices were higher than any other "core" shop. it seemed like they were a cool part of the montreal scene though, so that is a shame that they have to close.

i live walking distance from d-structure in montreal and i never spent a dime there for one reason: their prices were rediculous. I saved hundreds off of what D was asking by ordering all my gear from evo in seattle. sorry to say it but d-structure is where I went to check out product before i found it for a fair price somewhere else. I got my skis mounted at Sports Experts, which is farther from where i live, because D wanted $35 for the work. 35 to mount a ski? give me a break.

wow i didnt even know . you just ruined my day . it was such a sick shop. yeah the prices were pretty high. i would have never bought skis full price there . but it was an institution in blading and skiing in quebec. anyone that has gone to the d-jam or any other d-s sponsered event knows what i am talking about . they were the sickest jams ive ever been to
