Replying to Can't quite get 270 on

IanIsBored2000:
YES, I did searchbar it, but most of the results were about 270 off or whether they're easier on rails or boxes, and stuff like that. Anyways, we built a foot long box, and I started trying 270's on today. My first hit was just an ugly failure, but after that, about 15 times in a row I would make it on with my balance perfect and everything, but only make it about 200 degrees around, resulting in me basically switch 50/50ing the box. I prewind, look around my shoulder and everything, but just can't make that last 70 or so degrees. For some reason, no matter how hard I try though I never fully felt like I was 100% commiting and hucking as hard as possible. I wasn't scared at all after like the first 5 hits, so that wans't the problem, I just never fully felt commited, anyone else ever had that problem? There's only a tiny like 6 inch gap on, since I didn't feel like killing myself hen I was just learning, and I was only clearing like a foot and a half on, but I still just couldn't get the last bit of rotation. I think I'm so used to spinning just 180, my body just stops rotating there? Anyone have tips? Thanks.
