I would agree with you but 99% of NS wouldn't. I prefer sliding on snow.

being from pittsburgh where u really only get 4in of snow each storm, but then gets covered with 2 inches of ice and sleet....u start to love rails over jumps anyday. and yet i fell on ice on a rail today, fucking hurt like a fucking mofo. and if that was a jump and i fell on the same spot...i would probably have a shattered hip bone right now.

since we have no park at my home mountain, it's hard to progress in that area. I've learned to appreciate actual skiing outside of park, rather than being in the air and on metal 50% of the time, rather than skiing on snow.

"grinding" is for dances. sliding is the proper nomenclature.

i would definetly take a good jump line over a rail line but since the jumps at my hill arent maintained i often just have to hit rails
