is it just me or is every slopestyle, rail jam, and halpipe comp getting really expensive.

insurance + tickets + park rental + prizing + whatever else adds up.. it sucks, but that's what the deal is with comps.

where have the days gone when prizes were donated from local shops, the park didnt need to be rented, and everyone wasnt afraid of geting sued if little jimmy got a broken leg at a rail jam?

Yeah, the US Open is $250, which is about $200 out of my price range. Comps aren't that cool anyway.

prices are insane, its sad that some kdis who are really sick cant afford to compete, lucky for them and for skiing we have sponsorships for those kids

buckmans threw a rail jam today, $30 entrance, and they gave u $30 worth of product for entering, skull candy, neff, all that shit. kinda a sick idea, as they can get all that donated and still pay insurance
