i am just about to get the line invaders as a park ski, and i plan to take a pair of Rossignol 120 race bindings off my old race skis, will these work as a park binding (they're the ones that have the pivot) and they have DIN up to 12. any advice would be cool
Plus i think the 120's have a vertical release in the toe whereas the 155 and 185 doesn't - so actually the fks 120 style is arguably better for park than the 155/185
Anything race stock is fine for a long time (obviously unless something breaks) - I'd say those bindings will still be indemnified by Rossi for a good 5-10 years
i.e - FKX bindings are still indemnified and they are old school
its simple. no matter what binding it is pretty much, the riser just uses longer screws and the existing visable holes. all you have to do is either use shorter screws, or grind them down. all shops have belt grinders on either their edger or their base grinder, and if they say they cant, they are bein lazy. (a six pack is always great encouragement, tho, cause it is kinda a pain to do).
however, if they are the actual racestock 120s, then they are prolly mounted to the raceplate, in which case, youd just unscrew the binder from that.
