hello everyone,
i was a skier until i was 10. snowboarding became more popular and commercial so i gave it a try....for about 8 years. im now 18 and have decided to go back to skiing. while i was snowboarding i did a fair amount of park riding and hope to do the same with skiing. im 6ft 260lbs(and going down), size 12 shoe/boot. i need a ski and boot that will be able to perform in the park while still be able to handle my size outside it. any suggestions will help greatly. NS ftw!!

well like i said, im a big guy so a stiff ski will probably hold up better but until today, i hadnt been skiing since i was 10 so im not up to date on the equip yet.

Considering his weight, I think he would want something pretty stiff.

you said you wear a size 12 shoe/boot
im in a size 12 shoe but a 27.5 boot which is a 9, so my suggestion to you would be to go and get fitted for boots because if your boots aren't comfortable or way too big, then you won't have fun skiing

moment reno jibs, they are medium stiffness, which i would say is perfect for you because you want a jibbing ski and a stiff ski, and jibbing should be a little bit softer, so it all makes sense to get the moment reno jibs....

I'm 5'9 195 and I ski fischer addicts and line invaders. The only problems I've had are my bindings ripping out, but that could just be a shitty job by my shop. They are look px12 jibs.

did they tell you the condition that they are in (topsheet, any core shots, cracked edges, missing parts of edges, how they were maintained, who set them up, etc.) make sure that they won't break on you like mine did. mounting eggs out and both bindings broke which I'm still pretty pissed about, but they were second hand skis used by an aggressive rider so I'm sure that if you get some pics and ask the guys about the stuff I was talking about in () then you should be fine. good luck man and have fun skiing!
