Digital camcorders good for making ski films

Can anyone on here give me some advice as to which digital camcorders would be good for capturing action on the slopes for the possible creation of a ski movie? Camera needs to be mac compatible.

Thanks for the help. I am probley jsut going to buy the cheepest MiniDV camera I can find and buy a wide angle lense for it.
