Fellow Newschoolers, I need your help. I'm a very very aggressive skier in need of some new boots. I haven't been able to ski more than 2 days in a row this season due to incredible foot pain...My current boots are Tecnica Diablo Race 130 (stiff as fuck and tight as hell). I have a rather narrow foot and I'm looking for a freeride/freestyle boot that can handle the high speed carves, big mtn lines, and hard park landings. I grew up in race boots so I'm used to a stiffer flex but I'm willing to try something with a softer flex and I am wondering how a softer flex will affect my skiing. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what boots to look at? I know buying boots all comes down to the fit but I'm looking for some outside input. Thanks.

I'm no gear genius but I picked up dalbello rampages this year and I like them so far.  They are pretty adjustable due to some extra parts they come with for better fit or flex from some plastic pieces you can stick in various places in the boot.  Also they come apart pretty easy for changing said parts out, and the tongue (sp) is able to be swapped out for a stiffer or softer one I think.  All in all I'm happy with em but I got em a little big and since they packed out I got a little heel lift but not a huge deal to me.

maybe try some full tilts aka revamped flexons. They seem to be the boot of choice for many narrow footed people.

Well obviously you know about fit etc..

check out Dalbello Krypton Pro or a Stiff Full Tilt boot (can't remember the model)

kryptons and full tilts are both very good narrow fitting boots
