Mounting question

I took my skis to Sports Authority to get them mounted and i did not want them center mounted because i wanted them for all mountain skiing. But i picked them up today and they were of course center mounted. I was wondering what i should do and if they will mount them for free. And also by remounting the ski will it damage the ski in any way.

first time i've ever heard of someone asking to not mount center and they mounted center...

They just don't mount a ski center unless the skis midsole is at center, ie symmetrical ski. What skis do you have?

Strangely enough, from memory the recommended mount on those is centre - called the Jon Olsson mounting point or something..(don't tell me that they aren't JO Pros, I fucking know that.)

BUT when those skis are in plastic i am 99% sure that there is a sticker on the plastic cover which points to the mounting line and explicitly says something along the lines of "ATTENTION: If this ski is to be used for all mountain purposes please mount 9cm back from the Jon Olsson line"

So if you told them you wanted the skis for all mountain use and they were originally in plastic, then the tech is a dick, or didn't see the sticker.

if your not sure put the skis next to each other on facing the other way though, if the heel piece lines up perfectly with the toe piece of the other ski then there center
