Best Park on East?

I live in NJ, and this weekend I plan on going up to Vermont or Upstate New York or somewhere to get some skiing in. I want to know which is the best mountain to go to, maybe like stowe or killington or something. I really want to go someplace with a shitload of rails and jumps of all different sizes. So yea, pretty much whats the best park and a good distance from NJ (practically NYC)?

Don't just say your home mountain cause its your home mountain and you only ski there.

And also it needs to be large enough to have enough runs for the rest of the family and have a nice place to stay.

I would go with stowe, or okemo in vermont. but they are expensive but they are the closest to stuff out west. then in pa 7 springs or boulder
7 springs just redid and opened their main park today and its insane and pretty big. it also has a superpipe. also theres 3 other parks one with a ton of jibs and a halfpipe and the other with some stuff. all of the terrain parks have nice jumps too. all parks have a rope tow so u dont gotta ski all the way down and take the lift except for the spot, the main park which has its own lift. and boulder is sick ass too but 7 springs is bigger and i think its better overall. and way better out of the park. go to springs. also 7 springs park crew is sooo much better and everything is well kept but it can get crowded but if you stay off the frontside of the mountain, which is where most parks are ull be fine. if ur wanting to ski too 7 springs has some nice slopes, way bigger than boulder. i love them both and ski both often but i prefer 7 springs more. cool people there too but there are some gapers but they stay in the little park.

www.7springs.com-there terrain park page has stuff from last seasons in pics so dont take it from there. they do have some stuff from this year though ul get an idea this year they redid shit alot better.

If you need a good place to stay and everything for the whole family, and you want a sick park, the Loon in Lincoln NH is your best bet.

7 springs has alot of nice places to stay good for family all of that, boulder nothing to stay. stowe okemo, and stratton have real nice places to stay.

either go to stowe or 7springs depends on how much money u wana spend. both u will have a great time

mountain creek is great! a 1200 vertical drop and the appalachian hotel, which has an outdoor swimming pool!!! but if you actually want to have fun, i would go with okemo or stowe

ok if you are looking to stay at a place then go to jfbb and stay at the galleria and then are your way home hit up blue and there u go so hit jf in the day boulder night and blue the next day

Loon is best by far. After that, Killy is supposed to have a fun park this year and Waterville usually has a fun, quick lapping park. In my opinion, I would just save $ and go to Mountain Creek or Big Boulder which appear to consistently have better rail set ups than the majority of all other eastern mountains. With the exception of Loon, Waterville, and maybe 1 or 2 other resorts on a good day, you will not find anything much better than creek or Big Boulder anywhere in the eastern US.

If you're in upstate New York I'd consider going to Bristol. The park isn't too bad right now, just sometimes rutted out and icy. But I'd just go up to Vermont, NH or somewhere like that. Loon is supposed to be real nice.

Stowe is the best place on the east coast. the park might not be #1 but the mountain is so go there.

yaa i drive 6 hrs from cleveland to hit boulder and for the rest of the family i think jf has good skiing or hit blue one day and jfbb the other day...also for the family check out camelback heard they ahve good skiing....nawww meeen
and i'm sure you can find somewhere nice within an hour to stay

Alright, thanks for all the help coming in, I'm going to look into Loon and 7springs and Stowe, Okemo, Stratton, Killington maybe.

The reason I don't want to go to boulder is because they're way to small for some skiing outa the park and I go to creek all the time.

Are these places a lot better than mountain creek park wise or about the same?

And my parents are paying for it and they don't care really about cost : )

yea they all are but conditions are much better at all of them. mountain creek is like a big ice ball. i would consider all of the ones u picked better then mc but idk only been there 2 times.

as much as i love blue, and as badly as i fucked up my hip on the last kicker today, the jumpline at boulder puts it to shame

and on that note, u can make it to loon in like 5 hours or so, so worth the trip. just sleep in your car

From the looks of that pic ^ loon appears to have an absolutely insane park. Nothing else I have seen on the east coast even comes close to that. Wish I lived closer to there. Most we ever get is a 2 jump line.
