any pro on here think the loop rail is possible?

Everything else aside, to stick to the top of a 4 m (12 ft) loop, a 68 kg (150 lb) skier would have to be sliding at least 20 km/h at the apex (completely upside down)... is that fast for a rail?

That isn't super quick but if you add the compression, how many G's would be on your legs at the apex?

That's just to overcome gravity so it's ~1.1G. Remember, that's the slowest part of the loop. I suspect it's probably twice that speed going in but my head hurts too much to figure it out right now.

It could be done, but im not seeing it happening, as everyone has said physically its possible but probably not doable

it may be possible, who knows. If someone asked you 5 years ago, if it is posible to do a backflip over a road, and land on a rail, what would you have said? how about a rodeo7 off a cliff. even as simple as skiing switch. a few years ago I couldn't fathom these things, and I bet you couldn't either. It may be possible, it may not. just because someone on the internet, who maybe even claims to be pro, says it isn't possible means diddly squat. If you wanna find out build the thing, and find someone with the balls, and skills to attempt it. untill it is built and attempted anything said in this thread is a waste of time.
