Photography is sweet, but i need help!

Ok so i just finished with the photo class at my school, and i loved it!  Now im looking to get into a little more advanced classes and do some more legit pics.

For the advanced classes you need a DSLR and ive been looking at a few Nikons...

The one that ive been realy looking into is the D1H, and D2H, can anyone tell me the significant differences in the two because for all intensive purposes i cant see why spend the extra two to three hundred dollars,

if anyone has any other sugestions please post, i need all the help i can get

unless you are looking to become a professional photographer right now, you could save some money and get a d200.  then you would have some extra money to get some nicer lenses.  there is no point in getting a top of the line DSLR and pairing it with shitty lenses.  I saw some kid at my old school with a d2x and a stock lens that comes on the d50.  POINTLESS.  go all 2.8 glass if you can.  I have shot with the d1h, d2x, and the d2h and they all kick ass, and unless you have a shit ton of a money, they aren't that much better than the D200.  but that's just my opinion of it.  

but, if you don't mind buying a used camera, different story.  just out bhphoto.com.  they will have the best prices on almost everything and great customer services.  and good deals on slightly used stuff.  like this
