Hey last sunday I was in the park and they had a flat box then a gap into a down which was pretty steep and i tried a switch up onto the down box the box was pretty thin and i got my skis caught up like i always do and slammed my shoulder right into the box. I thought i just bruised it but then that wednesday i played in a hockey game and i knew it was hurt. the doctor said i had a minor fracture in my left collar bone and i can not play contact sports for 3 weeks. i forgot to ask him when i could ski. i feel n o pain in it and it just looks like it is swelling a bit. it was just one little crack on th x ray. i dont wana be an idiot and fuck it up more but my appointment for him to give me the ok is march 4th. i have a comp the 1st. do u guys think il be ok to ski then? and should i take it easy for the rest of the season? i hope not

Last season i snapped mine in half and displaced it 3 inches out, it took 3 month to fully heal and it still hurts but in your case i would take it super easy for the 3 weeks and see how it goes from there. But make sure you dont fall

I'd vote do nothing to get yourself hurt, take it so easy your bored 100% of the time.
Then go see the Doc the day before and see what he says.
(Sry would have asked my rents but they just went to beddy)

I broke my clean last year and was riding exactly 28 days later. Collar bones are quick to heal, and yours sounds like nothing.

i skied 2 weeks after i snapped mine... broke it again, then i skied 3 weeks after that... fractured it again, then i waited a long time cuase the season ended and i skied in the summer and fractured it again becuase i missed the landing of a table
it hurt but it wasnt really that bad. you only fractured it so youll be fine in 2 or 3 weeks

I broke mine in 2 places and had to have surgery on it so i wouldn't forever kill my shoulder. I'm out for at least three months, with one month down. but for just a crack you're good to go in a couple weeks, whenever he said contact sports, conceivably, skiing is a contact sport, your contact is just with ice and boxes and shit. So you should be good ina couple weeks, shit hurts though, I could feel mine moving inside my shoulder which was seriously whacked out.
