the left screw in my heel peice of my px jibs is always coming loose and when I try and screw it tighter it just keeps turning so it's shredded on the inside or something.. is this very serious at all?
the hole the screw was drilled for was probably drilled a little on the large side. besides that, to solve everything sell me your shitty bindings for cheap.
You have stripped the hole. Go to a shop and get them to helicoil it, or if you want to be ghetto, drip some marine grade epoxy in there and let it set.
haha, don't listen to this kid, wood glue won't hold anything if the hole is stripped. Like Lyndon said, you are going to need to get that coiled, or the other option is just remount the toes a little farther forward or back and just adjust the heelpieces.
I dont really like hely-coils cause the hole they drill is so freaking huge.
If you can just get a wood plug, bash it it that hole with glue and let it dry for a day or 2. Than just redrill and screw the binding back in. Its gonna be as good as new, not as strong as a helicoil but the upside is you dont have to drill a hole the size of a nickle in your ski.... And if that rips out, than heli-coil that shit...
