Helmets cams

So ive been wanting to pick up a helmet cam for a while buts its something i have zero knowledge about. Was wondering if anyone could tell me what the typical price ranges are, for the more quality ones wheres my extra money going, is it worth it for high quality, and any personal recommendations?

i got one as a christmas gift! so sick! they are so sick for follow cams and 1st person view! real dope! check out sportzshot.com or type it into google! they are a company based out of slc and there cam is sick and pretty cheap! you need an actual video camera tho....i have an hd one with a memory card! works wonders

I dont have a normal camera so im looking for a bundle that works without one but thanks, is 500+ a pretty normal price for setups with something to record onto?

i just paid 220 on ebay this week for this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=230220661476&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=013 and it comes with 2 mounts and a one is a high impact mount.  my suggestion is to look on ebay, i think i got a good deal

So it looks like most kits require that you already have a camera, which id love to do but itd be outta my price range

dude if your willing to pay 500 or so def go to that website^^^ that i suggested they also have a list of other actual video cameras that are cheap and small so you can just put in your pocket while helmet camming
