WTB: Your old Ipod

I'm looking for a working or dead hard drive ipod. No nano's or shuffles and preferably older than the 5th gen (video). It's for a project so I'm not looking to spend much. If it doesn't work let me know what's wrong with it and I'll see if I can still use it.

well ive already taken apart my mini and broke some stuff cuz it was done even after i replaced the HDD.  but i have a 4gb HD and a mini battery if youd like for cheap?

It needs to be working EXCEPT the hard drive but thanks anyway. If I was clear before, it's a project. My budget is very small.
