BIG AIR AND SLOPESTYLE - MARCH BREAK!

Hockley Valley Resort is hosting a huge Slopestyle and Big Air on March 11th and 12th.

For all of you who think Hockley's park is small, well we agree. Thats why we are taking over another hill!

This is going to be an event NOT to miss! We are breaking away from the traditional style of comps and are thinking about the riders. Yes, its on March Break, therefore you'll probley be partying, therefore nothing goes down until NOON!

Here's the best part, the qualification rounds just as good as the noon part. Instead of making you run up a hill for a half hour and killing yourself the qual round will be a massive railjam! Yes, as many laps as you want between noon and 4. Jam out to the DJ, Grab some food, and throw down! Simply impress a judge and you'll get a bib to compete that night for cash, shwag and supremecy!

Sounding good? It gets better, $10 to enter for the entire day (noon till 9 if you make it to the comp) + a lift ticket (Once again we thought about riders, you'll only need to pay half-day since its past noon, and no night ticket required.. just your legs so you can hike for your 3 laps)

Wait till you see the course, we are taking over JP! Expect massive decks, a huge booter and crazy setups!

Schedule is:

Tuesday March 11th -
Noon - 4 : Qual + Railjam + Warmup round for Big Air
6-8:00 : Big Air
8 - 9 : Special Finale
9:30 : Prizes (Cash + Shwaggg)

Wednesday March 12th -
Noon - 4 : Qual + Railjam + Warmup round for Slopestyle
6-8:00 : Slopestyle
8 - 9 : Special Finale
9:30 : Prizes (Cash + Shwaggg)

If there are any college/Uni/Working people interested in joining up we can extend the qualify round till 5 PM to give them a chance to make it to the resort and get a bib before we close the course to groom.

Let me know how this sounds or how late you'd need it open till.

Qualification round has been extended until 5 PM for those who cannot make it earlier, we will help usher those in who arrived late to get infront of judges quickly and will ensure you get a chance to qualify!

Big Air in 12  Hours! Slopestyle Tomorrow!

A new groomer has just arrived at the resort so the slopestyle conditions will be mint!

I realize the railjam was insanely packed and most people had a tough time getting on features. We are expecting roughly 50 people per day for qualification round so you'll have lots of room and time to hit things you want.

There is a lack of skiers at the resort yet the prize money + shwag is the same.. so you have a much better chance of qualifying + top 3.

 Thanks to the skiers that showed up today, hope you guys had a good time.

We saw some insane throw-downs! Massive shout-outs to the skiers in the orange and green pants for showing everyone how its done. If you guys read this give me a msg, 4FRNT has just shipped us a bunch of things in the mail so I'd love to pass some movies etc on to you guys! Its too bad you couldn't stomp everything in the finals!

Tomorrow is the slopestyle, looking at 2 down rails, then a battleship or rainbow followed by 2 jumps or a box on an upslope dropping onto a massive landing!

I got lots of 4FRNT shwag to give away so need some skiers to hand it out to!
