Yea so I had to switch universities and where I'm at now we only have the university resnet system for internet access, and they've made it impossible to use torrents apparently. Albumbase got killed didn't it? Has a good site risen up from the ashes yet?
Just search what ever album or artist you want into google with "megaupload" OR "rapidshare" after it, and a ton of links will come up in different blog sites and such which have the file hosted on either of the hosting sites(megaupload or rapidshare). Works better than anything in my opinion...
Nah man it works great. I had a premium version I got and I could rerecord movies at like 700 kbps quality and they recored at 30x speed for the movie or something like that, so it took like only a few minutes. It's even better for songs.
hmmm i just downloaded version 5 premium (got the crack offline) and i'm trying to figure it out, it sounds like all the songs it's converting are playing at once... is that normal?
If you're in the dorms, get OurTunes or something, anyone who's sharing their music on iTunes will have their entire library available for download there.
unfortunately with iTunes 7 ourTunes is kinda broken. Its really janky right now, or at least it was a few months ago. I assume myTunes is broken as well although I don't know since it was windows only.
then they ask you to type in a 3 letter cod that is displayed, and your golden. For anyone who can't use .rar files either, there is a great program called "UNRAR" that you can download that unzips .rar files really quickly. Just search Unrar in google.
Anyone know a way to get a free rapidshare premium account?
I found a huge list of usernames and passwords, but I tried like 15 of them and all the passwords were invalid...then I tried a premium account generator program that looked sketch, so I scanned it before downloading and its a virus.
email the people in charge of the network and tell them you want to download a new linux distribution and the only way to get it is by torrent. They might tell you how to make it work. I got an email from my university telling me I downloaded an episode of the sopranos and I had to delete it and uninstall my torrent program. I responded by saying "I deleted the copyrighted file, but bit torrent is in no way illegal and it has many legitimate uses so I won't uninstall it." They said it was fine.
i use projectplaylist.com and open up my playlists with windows media player. then while the song is playing, i click file then save as. and it will download the streaming music.
i use projectplaylist as well, although there are other ways.
if you can find the direct link to the mp3 file (like its a blank web page with just a quicktime or whatever player, with "song.mp3" as the address) you can just go to (if you're using firefox) file > save page as > and just saves the song.
if you have any minimal html knowledge you can create a small link webpage in notepad linking to that file and then just right click > save file as.
there are many ways other then programs or bit torrents, although they usually aren't as convenient as said programs.
