If you've been riding the same skis for the past 3 seasons....

Lets hear your setup and its condition/Personal Bond you've made
The Last installment of the Line Mike Nick Pros, 178. Currently riding my 3rd season on them. A few minor chips in the top sheet, no parts with wood showing, 3 places where the edges are cracked. Extremely dulled and slightly pushed in under foot (doesn't affect riding) Bases have no core shots or major nicks, despite being ridden very hard.
Overall i can say im so impressed with the quality in which these skis were built. It amazes me that they still look brand new on the snow. Line def. did a great job with these skis. They are officially my babies and they feel like heaven on my feet.

My park skis are the original trouble makers which i pro-formed the first year that they came out. I was very impressed with them, until this season now that I have an edge ripped out and a super noodle shovel. However, considering how many days I have skied park on them, and how well they have held up until now they have been awesome park skis. Oh well, I ski more powder these days anyway, and my Rossi Steezes are pimping. I am going to buy a new park ski in the next few weeks, still deciding what to get.

i trash and replace my park/all mtn skis most years (already bent my ar6s), but im rockin the same pow boards for 3 yrs - Line Mo'ship Ti 182s.
Theyre still sick. cap construction shouldnt be this bomb proof. i hadm remounted 4 cm up this season cos ive found myself switch in pow way more often.
still light, fat and wicked.
and i still cant stand to have them on the wrong feet (a lady that fine should never be split in two) - check my icon if your young and uninitiated

Ninthward Firstbloods. They are a lot softer and deader than when i got them, but they still ski decent. like 5 edge cracks, all besides two from this season. super dull, bent under edges.
I have done hundreds of feet of dirt skiing lines on them. Pretty fun, i thought I would have new skis, but then i didn't get them, and they still hold up. I just filled the bases where they needed it and they are legit.
I also did custom graphics, so they def have some personal attachment.

last year (first riding park) i bought a used pair of 05-06 169 fujatives which turned out to be waaaaaaay to short and soft for me (6'0" 205), skiied these all season last year (my only ski, got 188 jp juliens for pow this year). but i still use them as my park ski, and they're not too fucked up yet, although just recently got a bunch of hiarline cracks in the sidewall of one ski right under my boot, i think its gonna break in half one of these days. i guess i'm not too picky, because i ride them about half the time

Original troublemakers, still skiing them in the park. They have easily over 250 days on them. No camber, several coreshots, missing and cracked edges. For some reason they wont die...thumbs up for french ski construction.

I still have my first pair of skis from like 4 years ago. The navy blue Rossignol Scratches. I learned to ski on them when I switched from snowboarding. I still use them for urban now. They deffinetly have a little attachment because they were my first skis.

funny how you say dulled edges that are slightly pushed underfoot dosnt affect riding cause in facts, it will.
might not affect you park stuff tho.

yeah I only really notice them in icy days. As far as park and groomers, or basicly anything short of pure ice, I dont have a problem. Its more dulled edges than anything else, they really aren't pushed in much at all...i know what you mean tho.

i had the first additoin TM's...had about 200 days on them....many cracked edges and no camber left. lasted 3 long seasons as my park skis...just recently snapped them ski bumps. when i did it and heard them snapped i just laugh..it was a good run.. love that ski. Thinking about get the tms retro course to replace them.

yo, your trouble makers sound alot like mine. I am going to retire mine to a summer handrail ski/dirt ski only soon. I think there is no camber because of the springblade in them. It keeps them legit. I feel that they still ski alright, but with the pop starting to fade (over 250 days on them as well) and with the edge missing they are starting to affect my skiing a little bit. Especially pipe skiing without an edge blows, and it is harder to click onto rails to spin on and off without an edge.

I have the Troublemaker from when they started making a 182, prly about 4 years ago? This season they officially were retired, and I got some MSPs. One TM is a shot ski that was given to a sorority and my other one is just chillin.
They were so fucked up though, 6-10 inchs of edge were missing in the middle of each ski, and had lots base scratches from riding into the parking lot. They still rode good, I just rather ride the MSPs.

05 Scratch FS - Mounted with axial 110s
Pretty damn good condition. No huge damage to the base.. a few small nicks, but nothing I couldnt repair if I wanted to take the time. A few chips on the topsheet, but other than that, nothing bad. Skis are indestructable I tell you...
04 Armada ARV - Mounted with mojo 120s
Again, pretty damn good condition... a few base injuries I basewelded, so they are now good as new... basewelds came out perfect as could be, and after about 30 or so days on them since, I know for a fact they are good as new down there. Topsheet a little tattered, but no delam. Good shit.
03 Salomon Thruster (1080)
Base is in urban/rock condition, as expected... slow as fuck, but if I wanted to, I could go into full repair mode and fix these puppies to good as new, for there isnt a single coreshot.. just a lot of nicks and scrapes in the base that slow it down bigtime. I have a lot of days in on them, and they STILL havent blown on me...

2 pairs of scratchs, both with well over 175 days. They still have edges and camber. These things wont die. even when I use them for urdan or ride through the cement garage at alpine or any of the rest of the mean things I've done to them.....basically bombproof.....but scratched to all hell

Really??? i love rossignol, love the flex dimensions and how they ski but i don't find the edges durable. After one season (100-150 days) I always have a handful of edge blowouts. Just retired my wrs after less than 100 days and my new pair has considerably more pop in them.

05-06 Volkl Karmas. The ones with the textured topsheet. They are in amazing condition. Nothing wrong at all. Or at least they were until I had to avoid a snowboarder earlier this season at Squaw and absolutely took it to a rock. Coreshot but no edge damage. Perfectly repaired. I love these things. Worst ide ever for Volkl to get rid of these. But I will certainly be getting a pair of Gotamas or Chopsticks next year. 85 underfoot is a tad skinny these days. But I love them. They slay EVERYTHING. They blow through crud, annihalate ice. They could be better in pow but what else can you expect from something so skinny. Pick up a pair if you can.

Another shout out to the original Troublemakers. I skied solely on them for either two or three seasons, and they've split time with Liberties for the past three. They're now my beater ski that I'll use in the park when I feel like doing stupid stuff, but, for the life of me, I can't break them. I don't do a ton of rails and have only just now found the smallest of cracks in the edge. They still have a lot of life left in them, even when compared with brand new skis that I've demoed. Dynastar seems to have slipped up for a couple of years after the original TM, but this one is great.
