I typed "steeze hellbent" into the searchbar, I don't think you can get much more specific than that. I made the thread for a friend that doesn't have an account. He's about 5'9 175 and can't decide whether to get 179 Hellbents or 185 Steeze. He just wanted a few opinions because both skis fit what he's looking to do. Any help is appreciated.

I'm around the same height and weight and have the 179 hellbents and they have become my ONE quiver. I've learned to ski them everywhere except on ice. The only thing I can say is that if he's into charging lines all mountain/big mountain....i think the steeze would be better.
Hellbent vs Steeze:
Graphics: tie....steeze for the girlie attention and the gay guys...hellbents to scare everyone else
Charging: Steezzee...Lost and Found...watch it and see Sage carve the shit out of AKspines
Jumps: Steeze...stiffer tip and tail ...not rockered and no problems w/ forced wheelies
POW: Hellbents....like a HOT knife
Tree Skiing: Hellfuckinbents...like you're on rails
Park: tie...maybe slight edge to steeze...just heavier though than the bents
Playfulness: Hellbents...butters are baller on bents. and pow is sickly...

the steeze has teh WRS which takes off 800g from its weight...
but this really isnt a fair comparisson. the skis are hella different.
not to mention the lenghts...a 179 and a 185? tell him if he is goiing to get the bents to ball the fuck up.
a 189 bent will ski alot shorter than that. even shorter than the 185 steeze. these are two comp. diff skis at two COMPLETLEY diff lenghts.

it just comes down to if he wants a rockered ski or not. the steezes are more versatile than the bents, and will also be sick in pow. but if he already has another all around ski get the bents. and get the 189 bents, rockered skis ski shorter and they will be less squirley than the 179s.

have you skied 189 bents, im just wondering, because im 510 and thought 179 was the perfect length for all mtn jibing, they measure to be 184 or something like that, but i couldnt imagine 189 bents, ive been on big skis, 191 ants, but 189 bents just dont sound fun, but anyways they are completely different skis, steeze are super stiff....and well normal camber

no i have not. but i know that the rocker not onyl makes alot less effective edge but in doign so makes the ski feel alot shorter. if u want a charging ski. go bigggg. if u want a ski u are going to be jibbin around alot more...go smaller.

bahaha a 179 hellbent is almost exactly the same length as a 185 rossi and is plenty of ski for someone who's 5'10.
