I hate the word hella

every once in awhile, one of my friends will remember the word hella and use it every time he can then itll catch on and everyone starts using it. i dunno why but this word in particular gets used in so much excess when people say it once they say it like 200 times that day

Hella is fine if you use it rarely, but if EVERYTHING is "hella legit" then you just sound like a fagel.

hecka on the other hand is just downright retarded.  When kids say that it sounds like some church kid who is afraid to say hell cause they think their imaginary god will strike them with a lightning bolt.

hella just needs to be used appropriately, just like epic. Its the fuckers who use it too much and in the wrong circumstances that ruin the words.

example of when I would use hella. The right and the wrong times.

right time

My buddy just stomps a sick rail for the first time that took a lot of cojones to hit.
Me: That was hella sick!

After a first track powder day at Squaw Valley, "that was epic"

wrong time



You've been driving in the car for 20 minutes and some bitch in the back says:
"We've been driving for hella dayz!"

After eating pizza:
"dude that pizza was epic"

And I also hate it when people use the word dank to describe anything other than weed.
