Fun powder ski opinions

im lookin for a floaty, soft freestyle powder ski. something fun but that still has pop

i was lookin at sum bacons, and the sfs pros look really appealing. i already have wide rock skis for regular powder days, so i have no need to compensate on width, i can go wide as needed. im lookin to ski switch n forward in the powder, really just have as much fun and to play around with when its deep

not really lookin for much rocker if any, definitely not reverse camber, because i still want pop if i find features that i want to pop off throughout the day.

key is wide, light, soft, switch and fun

nebody got ne suggestions?

If you're a good skier you can still pop well on rockered skis.  And every brand pretty much makes the ski you're looking for.

be warned, maden's are not soft, and neither are the Silva pro... they are actually really stiff.

oh yea, you can still pop pretty much the same amount with rockered skis. It's a little different method if there isn't much snow, but if there is more than about 4 inches its basically the same.

As long as you're not charging crazy lines you should think about EP Pros. I fucking love mine. I have a review of them so you can check that out.

its fat(140-120-133)
its very soft(softer than bacons)
and fun
and twin
and i enjoy it

get volkl sanouks, the sickest soft snow ski out there, very soft very long 193 only and swallowtail with huge shovel up front. cant go wrong so much fun

I second getting a pair of JJ's - especially since this is the last year of the traditional design. They're light, soft, and amazingly playful. Check out my review for more info.

I disagree about them not being an all around ski. I ski mine on groomers...really fast and they hold a redic good edge.  I skied them in some groomed stuff that had random small bumps and shit, nothing that you could like pop off really or anything like that, and they held a great edge and seemed fine.  And I came from a carving ski 2 years ago that was as stiff as a race ski (non twin) and these held almost as good of an edge.  They do kill it in pow though and in trees. 
The big sidecut makes them feel not as wide as they are, and super fun all over. 

They do suck in just mashed potato snow and tracked pow for the most part though.

Yeah.  I think they're perfect flex for a powder/all mountain fat ski.  They're like park ski soft in the tips and tails, and get progressively more stiff as you go inward.  So, they're buttery tips/tails that are super solid underfoot.  Definitely a good ski to look at.
