What ski shops do you go to mount in southern minnesota?

Yeah so I'm tired of paying Waynes Ski and Cycle in mason city, Iowa $45 to mount my bindings. I figured I'd post here and see where you guys go to get your bindings mounted WHERE YOU REQUEST and for a reasonable price, because $45 for them to drill some fucking holes is rediculous.

To be honest man its gonna cost that much at pretty much any ski shop. My best advice is to try and get in good with someone who works there. Also there is more to mounting than just drilling holes, it goes drill, glue, mount, adjust and then test, its more of a process than you think.

Really?? You guys pay that much at your shops to get mounted? I thought Waynes was just monopolizing the mounting business because no one else around here does it. But I was also asking about a shop that mounts where you request because they have screwed up before and mounted way farther back then 2cm from center, more like 10 cm from center. Pretty gay..
But for those that mount yourself, what tools are needed and how accurate is it as far as mounting them straight and aligned on the ski?

sports hut in wayzata does a good job
to mount them yourself, for a perfect everytime job you need a special plate that has same holes as your bindings so u can line it up good, a drill, glue, ur boots. the hard way is to measure yourself and not use the plate and hope your bindings are on straight.

Saturday is going to be a very busy day. Usually, its too busy on Saturdays for our tune shop guy to work on stuff. They will be done for sure on Monday. Ask for John, he is the guy you want to talk to.

Well turns out my dad just bought a whole new snowboard setup so theyre gonna give me a free mount on my skis since he just dropped $700 on his stuff. Thanks though, next time I need one I'll definately hit up the shop at welch. Thanks for the tip
