Sketchy fucking encounter.

I was hanging out with some friends the other day when one of them asked my friend Collin for a ride to sell a bag and smoke a few bowls. I was getting and of cold standing around outside and I wasn't going to turn down free bud, so I hopped in the back.

We get to this kid's house, we'll call him Sam. I'd never met him before, but he was super chill. Just a big, friendly kid who does stand-up comedy on the weekends and shit, funny as hell... good times were had by all. He said his mom was coming home at 5 so we had to peace out before then. We were using Collin's bong so we start packing at 4:40 because if we got caught with the huge duffel bag he keeps it in.. I mean, it's just kind of difficult to convince a parent there's not something sketchy in a duffel bag if you don't let them see it haha. Joking about how we definitely didn't want to get caught in that situation, we head downstairs to get going at 4:45.

"You kids been smoking pot?"

It was a deep voice and he had said his mom was coming home, so we just figured it was him fucking around with us. The living room was all dark because the shades were drawn, so we couldn't see anyone. All of a sudden the form of a large, furious black male, presumably his father, stepped out of the shadows. I knew it was too late because we had sat in silence for at least ten seconds after the question was asked thinking it was just Sam, but I figured I'd give it a shot.

"Uhm... no, we haven't. Just came over to play some XBox before work..."
"I smell pot. I can smell it. What the fuck is going on here?"

At this point he stormed upstairs to check his son's room. After a moment of stunned silence my friend Collin goes "Holy fuck, open the door, now. Go, get the fuck out of here to the car NOW". I turned around to Sam and mouthed "I'm sorry" and then we booked it towards Collin's car. We were opening up the doors when his dad busted out the front door screaming at us.

"Where the fuck do you kids think you're going?"
"I have work at 5, sir, we need to go."
"Get back here NOW, you can't leave!"
"Sir, I have a job, I work at Hannaford's, and I can't afford to lose it. I need to go."
"I'm going to find out the names of all three of you. You are not going to get away with this."

We get in the car and a few seconds later the kid who sold Sam the bag gets a message "Watch for cops" which took some serious balls because his dad was obviously in a rage at that point. We went past Hannaford and sure enough there were three cop cars patrolling the area looking for the car. We booked it the hell out of there. Turns out that guy got Collin's plates so we have to lay low for a bit haha.

I haven't heard back from Sam yet, I feel terrible for him and hope he didn't get owned too badly, but I fear the worst... not cool.
