Need girl advice quick

so last night my girlfriend of almost 3 yrs and i decided to take a break, i wasnt really all for the idea but she said she needed it and there wasnt much else i could do about it without being a total asshole. so now she wants to meet me for lunch this afternoon, and i dont know what to do/expect, i already agreed to meet her any advice? i know this shoould be in ladies men but im not a member and dont have alot of time please help me

Yeah dude, fuck that. Say you're busy but you'd be happy to hang out with her in a park / at your house / at her house / anywhere that she can't break up with you comfortably on her terms... although if she's gonna do it I'm not sure how long you'll be able to avoid it.

But I think that if she breaks up with you you should tell her you want to go talk about it at a different place and she had better respect that and shit, after 3 years I think ending it in a cafe or whatever and then not even talking about it would be fucked up.  If she does break up, not at all saying she will just might as well be prepared right, I would just tell her you wanna talk about it at a different place, if she says no, just walk out and give her a guilt trip or something, then just NEXT her probably, depending on how good of friends you were before you started dating.  How old are you too?  That would help to know.

ya so her break lasted a total of 24 hrs, she realized she couldnt handle it i guess and now shit is back to normal...i guess. she just doesnt want to fight over the past anymore, which is an agreeable condition

why wouldnt he go if shes gonna break up with him? shes not a mail order wife, and believe it or not, women have a say in things too.

so, maybe you shouldnt give him shitty advice like go ski and maybe some good advice: go and tell her how you feel and listen to what she has to say. if she wants out and you dont, you will both be happier apart then if only one of you is feelin it.

She is 99% going to break up with you.  Take it like a man and move on buddy.  There's plenty of ladies out there.  Yeah 3 years is a long time and gettin over her isnt gonna be a walk in the park but just hang out with your close friends, ski as much as possible, and smoking weed has always helped me with shitty situations and from gettin depressed, so if you're into that then go for it.

I believe the point was to not go to the lunch so that if she was gonna break up with him she would have to do it somewhere they could talk about it and not have a waiter trying to shuffle them out of the place and send them on their way. Restaurants aren't the best places to handle a breakup, although it happens all the time.
