Techinically apple doesnt want you doing it, and when you do it, it techincally voids your warranty, if you bought the apple protection plan, or best buy's plan or w/e you bought, if you bought one, you would be voiding. Now that doesnt matter whatsoever., because after a restore, neither man nor god can tell the difference as to whether it was jailbroken or not. Its legal to do, you are just adding third party software and changing files. I havent had any problems with bricking, its not that big of an issue as long as you follow the tutorials on how to jailbreak it. I would recommend doing it. I had it restored ike a month ago and didnt even use it again till i jailbroke it. If you jailbrake it and fuck it up, then for some reason it wont restore, the chances of this are like 1 in a 100,000,000 but dont bother going to apple with it, cause they ask you to leave. lol.
