Somebody wanna teach my how to cork my spins?

yeah i need help.. i can spin normlly pretty good buti wanna learn how to throw spins. some people ve told me to spin normally for the first 3 then bring my legs up but th didnt work out soo help me outt please

drop your right shoulder (if you spin to the left) as you set your rotation, make sure to pop hard and look for the landing

Don't you drop your leading shoulder? If you spin left don't you drop your left shoulder? I've only corked at water ramps but thats what I did.

Make sure you cork a 7 before you try anything lower because it's easier to uncork.

One other thing, since you are new to the site, you have not heard of the magic the searchbar can do for you! The searchbar can answer you questions much faster and much more efficiently than making a thread. All you have to do is type in that little white box toward the top right of your screen whatever question about freesking you might have, and a bunch of past threads answering your question will be there right in front of your eyes.

kinda like hip check then twist your shoulders and you spin. make sure your trailing shoulder follows the leading one.

How do you come back on regular axis? I can easily visualize throwing the corked spin by dropping my shoulder as I start the spin for the first 180, but I'm scared of what would happen next..

you need to be spinning atleast fives to really cork your spins to or you'll end up landing on your hips in a three once you can cork 5's and 7's then try three's corked three is a sick looking trick but when you land if you really corked it you'll probably land on your edges so be ready for that shit

the way i do it is by basically spinning your tips straight back down towards the lip of the jump when you pop and if you commit they cork out so naturally

there's really no way to just say how to cork because it all depends on the shape of the jump

for jumps with a lot of pop to them - DONT try and set the cork too early, start the spin off (i'd recommend going for a 7) then  when your in the air drop back your left shoulder (if your spinning right) and bring your legs up to your chest, this will allow you to get off axis, when you want to go back to the right axis go open up your body and stick it

for jumps that send you longer (less lippy) - try and set the cork at the top of the jump, an easy way to do this is by carving off of the jump. As you get to the top of the jump try to be leaning with the jump. NEVER LEAN FORWARD! If you spin left, drop your left shoulder and reach for your right knee behind your back. This will allow you to get off axis. The further and further you want to go off axis the lower you reach on your right leg.

This might help you and might not it is just what i think of when i throw my corks.
