I remember my 8th grade math teacher told us to not see that movie. She was a bitch. Also the youth group I went to gave us pamphlets regarding that movie. I really didn't even want to see it to begin with.
But about the book, I heard it was good.

great book, weak movie. i was psyched for the movie too not only because the book was so good, but tom hanks and ron howard are awesome. it's obnoxious when christians get all pissed about it though, it's just a novel, get over it.
