I wish that was our problem. In PA, it's just crappy. We've had some cold periods, but almost no snow, and then some unseasonably warm periods with rain. It's like winter in Arkansas. Next week looks much better. I'm currently up in Lake Placid, and we just got 12" of powder last night and more on the way....Whiteface was awesome today.
I was in Louise this december and the conditions were wrose than they've been in years. I almost killed myself off the ptarmigan chutes. I really hope it gets better next season. I grew up on that mountain.
As far as my home mountain goes....Boler Mountain. I use the term Mountain generously. You guys probably have more feet of base at your hills than this place has in vertical decent.
we had our suffering season of only 20-30% of average snowfall last year, and this year start out shitty as well until january. But we are back on track.
