What did you get on the ACT?

i didnt study or anything, i got a 25. should i take it again or not worry about it? im not planning on getting into fucking harvard or any big universities.

I got a 33 and I go to Northeastern U in boston. A 25 is good enough for most state schools.

I got a 29. It got me in to the University of Michigan.
Taking it again can't hurt but a 25 will get you into a bunch of places.

Cutoffs change for every school almost every year. Go to collegeboard.com and theres a cool little "where will my scores take me" thing somewhere on the front page. Type in the schools you want to attend and see what the ACT cutoffs are. If you're below one you want to go to, you might want to consider doing a practice SAT and see if you can score higher on that.

25 as well, didn't study or anything, would have been much better without the math i didn't know.

i wouldn't take it again unless you can't go where you want to with it.

Basically, another standardized test that really tests you more on your ability to fill in bubbles than actual knowledge and smarts. Its an alternative to the SAT, accepted at all colleges (except BYU, fuckers) and is different than the SAT in a few subtle ways. Basically, if you do bad on the SAT, you might want to take a practice ACT to see if you can do better, and vise versa. Colleges dont hold one above the other, so find out which you naturally do better on ASAP so you can start prepping for it.

28 comp. I got into Purdue University and Indiana University. Two good schools in my home state. You shouldn't have a problem at all.

I got a 34 and that didn't help me get a scholarship to DU at all. everybody who applies there has at least a 30, and they have many 34-36 applicants. you have to have something else to make you stand out. The only reason i had a scholarship was because of the National Merit program, that helped me..

I got a 29 and a 32 g scholarship, the average at DU is only like a 26 or 27 i think
