Replying to Only the 21345th thread of it's kind..... (but please help me anyways)
So I've been out of the ski market for over a year now, was hoping to stay that way. As it is I'm not totally convinced that the edges are going to stay in my fujatives and I don't want to go to CO with that in the back of my head the entire time. It's time for a change.
-6'1"
-180lbs
-Park, lots of rails
-Midwest
-Groomers
-Switch
-Somewhere between noob and expert
Looking for:
-break from the park noodle concept, little more stable
-about 85mm underfoot
-lots of pop
-amazing switch
-fun on groomers, holds an edge on on ice
-looking maybe to a center mount
-bombproof
So where does that leave me? I'd replace the fujatives, but I'm sick of all that flex. I don't butter at all as it is. I'm sick being on my tips every time I come off a rail a bit unbalanced.
I was looking at the Volkl Wall, but I heard the bindings rip out of them and I don't know how they are for flex. Thoughts?
Am I still ok at 180 or so for length? I don't have a real preference, but I want something to function well as a real ski too.
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
