Chads gap(not a how to get there thread)

does anybody know who the first person to ever land it was, because i just cant think of being like: "oh that 145 ft gap looks like fun, im gonna hit it!!"

and yes i know about chad zurinkskas or whatever his last name is, but who was the first one to actually land it

Yeah candide was the first guy to clear the whole thing. I think he was only like 16 at the time also.

Yeah.  I think Chad hit it first, didn't land it, then Candide hit it and stomped.  And its like 120 max....  it doesn't seem too huge in person, but I bet it changes when you're at the top.  and it's a major sketch factor as far as the inrun and outrun go.

i told my snowboarder friend that candide hit/landed it first, and he's pretty sure that travis rice did it before him. i dont really know enough about it to be certain on either one. anyone actually know?
