ive got this oppertunity to move out west because my parents can get good coaching jobs out there since they coached there all through the 80's. Im excited but at the same time im like do i really want to leave my friends behind? This would be a good thing to go out there for me to train with the ski teams out west since i race

if they are your friends they will understand. plus you can still talk to them on the phone and over the internet. and visit them on holidays when you go back home.

KEYSTONE! Uh yeah I would definitely go. You can visit your friends and if you anything of a legit skier I would go to Keystone.

I don't know about you guys, but I have a pretty good friendship with most of my friends, and if my parents had that chance, I'd be split too. I'd probably NOT go, because to me, skiing isn't about the type of skiing you do or where you do it, its just about having fun with your friends, and I can do that right here. It depends on you and your friends. My best friends ski, so I'm quite close with them. If you're just so-so friends with a bunch of kids who don't ski, then you should probably go, because you'll make friends who ski there. Now of course if you live somewhere flat, like Kansas, then that changes things.

dude go! what grade are you in, if you are a solid racer/skier you will have an automatic in with the "crowd": especially if your parents are respected coaches. Where in the east are you now? Go! Friends are important but there are almost 7 billion people in the world, do whats good for you, it will be a good experiance. trust me, you will look back one day and be verryy happy that ended up moving
