with as little as there is in the review section, i've personally found it very helpful, and i like to consider myself relatively knowledgable in most categories of ski gear. If you look up your own gear in the reviews section, and there's not a ton of reviews (if any) on it, write an insightful review for the rest of us to enjoy.
Some of you could argue there's already a lot in there; however, consider how many quality products that're available from indy, underground companies, or companies based in Europe.
If you have some time to burn, do the community a favor.
thanks, cheers, powforbreakfast.

Already do this, but it's a great resource for people who don't know. Be sure to do the correct spellings of the brands/product or they will be categorized separate from the correctly spelled ones. Don't rate something 10 just because it looks sick, rate it according to functionality, too.

Amen.^^
also, elaborating on what he said, if your product has been reviewed a few times and the scores seem to stay consistent, if you think differently of your gear, don't be afraid to go against the grain and explain why you stray from the norm. the purpose of reviews are to give multiple well-rounded opinions on the same item.

A good review is a great way to spread your knowledge, and crappy ones make me wonder why they bothered to do it in the first place.
