Can you dye yarn?

I just got an ec headwear classy beanie and its all white. Can i RIT dye it like neon or baby  blue or will their yarn not absorb it?

jum, just have fr33ski3r make you a hat, check his thread, those things look tight and in w/e colors you want and for pretty legit prices
