Tuning your skis

is a lot like foreplay, it may not be your favorite part, but it definitely gets you pretty excited thinking about how they will perform for you, and it shows your skis that you actually care about them, and not just there to ride them, and lastly you will definitely be able to ride them harder because of it.

I enjoy tuning my skis.  and by tuning my skis I mean waxing and filing down the edges to a nice smooth round transition.

I like having fast skis, but I hate waxing them. And I never touch my edges except for filing them down cuz theyre so damn sharp from the factory.
