cap construction to know sanwitch construction...graphics...and i think thats it so performance wise really nuthin...but im not 100% on that

NOPE, 05-06 and 06-07 are exactly the same except the graphic. 05-06 is black with the skull on a stick graphic, 06-07 are white with the scarecrow and buildings graphic. As long as we're on the subject, the 04-05 was the same as these too, but white with the pile of skulls graphic, but they were made in a different factory in Canada and had a higher MSRP.

You are talking about the 07-08 (red with raven graphic), which is sidewall (rather than cap like the previous 3 years) and is wider (80 waist became like 84 or 86 or something). Also, the 07-08 feels a lot softer than my old Chronics, but I have only flexed them in the shop. All 3 years are totally sweet though, can't go wrong with any Chronic, Chronic Wide, or Chronic Blend (or Skogen Sprang for that matter which was the same as the Chronic Wide in its last year).
