its either gonna help alot. or just not help a bit and add a bunch of weight to your ski

wow, that could work.
but it also has the potential to fuck up your ski worse ( if you dent in or rip out an edge that extra metal might fuck up your base if it get all twisted)

i've had a couple pairs of salomons and the edges held up pretty well even without the fancy re-enforcing junk.

yessir. the only difference is with those, once the edge cracks and rips out, youll have a dangling edge held by a wire that will make the base of the ski more prone to delam after the edges are gone.
its a good idea tho. but i dont realistically see a ski with bombproof edges.

exactly we will have to see how they work hope fully they area solution. Edges ripping out can be super dangerous and should should never ski anything but urban with skis with edges ripped out. My friend has been is in the hospital with a broken back for 2 days because he was skiing on skis with no edges and could stop or make a turn and went off a cliff into the woods.

this isnt that new. i know a guy pressing boards in is basement that wires his edges in. not going to help too much when they crack
