a fundamental concept in the psychology of marketing whether that be consumer products or winning a presidency.  just like with pavlov's dogs the american public salivates at the thought of america being brought back from the brink the bush administration has brought us to and the american public is hoping that the next candidate can direct america down the right path.  the politicians are using the word "change" as their meat powder to stimulate the american vote. eventually we will be conditioned so much that just the physical embodiment of the politician will represent "change"
