I'm heading to whistler mid-february and will be skiing for 6 or 7 days. Just wondering if anyone knew any ways to get good deals on whistler passes? I know a lot of resorts sell discount cards which get you the 1st and 4th day free for example..
any info would be appreciated.

you can buy daily lift tickets for about $10 from locla 7-11s. you can also buy an edgecard, which is about the price of a one day lift ticket, and it give you the first day skiing free (the price of the card) and discounts on all lift tickets purchased afterwards. honestly, just call the mountain and speak to guest services and they will tell you any deals they have. hotels often throw lift tickets into accomodation packages too

I'm staying right in Whistler.. so local non-whistler gas stations and 7-11's (pemberton, squamish) may not be an option. Also not staying at a hotel, so no deals there.
I'll definitely call up guest services though - thanks for the heads up.
anyone else?

if he was serious about that it would be worth a little drive on your first day to buy tickets for the whole week if you could

you have to be under 18 with proof and the only store that i remember that does that is in vancover. people with seasons passes get 3 free day passes to give out to people so maybe oliviers friends can help you out...

I got the cheapest deal on the WB website. Think you can get a ticket from those 7-11's at about $10 off the regular price.

Made a call to WB today... They recommended getting the Edge card for $300 which includes 5 tickets, and any additional tickets are $67. Seems like a pretty good deal, much better than the $10 off 7-11 stuff.
No student rates, which is pretty whack but oh well.
Any other deals you guys know about?

Theres a town like 20 minutes from whistler, the last town before you get there. At the 7-11 they sell discount tickets, and thats definately your best bet.
good luck = ]
All times are Eastern (-5)
