HD media pending on Adobe premiere

So I uploaded a bit of footy onto premiere, although it says the media is pending (wont let me view/edit the footage). The little blue bar on the bottom right hand side of the window keeps on loading, then reseting, then loading. I have waited about a half an hour, still no change.
Is this a problem or do I just need to be patient, or what?

It means it can't find it. How did you upload it? A camera? CD?

From the sound of it, you attempted to batch capture and somewhere along the line your timecode was broken. Looks like your gonna have to capture the good ol fashioned rewind and play/record way!

if you want to aviod this from happening dont watch your footy until your done with that tape completely...i dont mean all 60 minutes, just the amount of film your going to have on the tape. A new timecode is made after you watch the tape, which breaks the code, making uploading a bitch...as you have found out.Â

you can avoid time code breaks all together if you use the camera's end search option
