In this thread:
https://newschoolers.com/web/forums/readthread/thread_id/344952/ I was looking for someone to trade my Elizabeths for their Bacons, but I've decided that I'll also take cash for them, in hopes of having enough $ to purchase another pair of bacons, essentially making a trade. Still open to trades
172 Line Elizabeths 139-110-137 LIKE NEW
I bought these at the beginning of the season, and only have about 10 days on them. They are in excellent condition. No top sheet damage worth speaking of, edges are still sharp (I did not detune them or anything), no core shots, only one minimal scratch on the base and that is shown in a picture. They have seen a total of ONE box, ONCE. Currently mounted with deadbolt 614's (din 6-14) at recommended (2 back from center) for a 296B.S.L. (25.5 dalbello) boot. Bindings are quite burly and are good for many more years of use. I know for a fact that they will expand to fit a 26.0 boot, 27.0 MIGHT work, but I can't guarantee. Looking to sell with bindings, but I'm open to options, I have some axial 2 120s that could go with them instead.
Note that since these are new they still have a YEAR WARRANTY.
Why?
These skis are a riot. They are fun all over the mountain, great fun in park, and making the whole mountain a "play ground", jibbing around on random natural features etc. You've probably heard a lot about them already, so I will stop raving. In my opinion they are a great quiver ski, some use them as their only ski, but I decided I want something that will be better for me for charging around Alta and snowbird, where I ski the most. I'd love to keep them, but unfortunately I can't do both.
PRICE
Really want to be able to cover the expense of used bacons. Back in November when I got these, I know there were only 19 more pairs of these at the Line factory, so I'm assuming that there are no more available this year. These are $599 + ~$200-300 for bindings new, so I feel an ASKING PRICE of $525 is fair. I know this is mid season and many of us are broke, but please don't send me offers <$400 (skis + bindings) because if that's all I'm going to get for them, it would be more financially wise for me to keep them! I will consider any offers for skis in the 180cm range.
I'm located in Sugarhouse, SLC, so if you are local, feel free to message me about stopping by for a look.
Thanks!
